Adrian Orange & Her Band - Interdependance Dance

Interdependance Dance by Adrian Orange & Her Band

4...according to our on Thu 09 Aug, 2007.

Adrian Orange & Her Band with 'Interdependance Dance'. A warped combination of electro fuzzy bass and wonky synth sounds with monotone vocals which flutter in and out of tune. It's so slow which adds to the unusual sound and as it drifts along his vocals morph into a slow Ian Curtis of Joy Division fame. Second song is him singing with his guitar in quite a lo-fi and pretty way. Final track 'Sad Dancing' is a disjointed affair with big crowd joining in the chorus to complete the party atmosphere. Yeah pretty cool again .I shall look forward to the forthcoming album.

File Under: Alternative. 3 tracks: Interdependance Dance (PDX MIX), Sad Dancing, You Been Fucking Indoctrinating Me Blues. The debut release on K records from Adrian Orange and Her Band, these are three songs about balance, interconnectedness, determinism, love, and family/community, unity. For dancing. Adrian was born and raised in Portland, Oregon where she still lives. Full length album available through K in Autumn.
