What's this 7" wood in my hand??? now come on dirty boys...I'm referring to the new Victorian English Gentleman single entitled: "La Mer" / "Stupid As Wood". Sounds like Blood Red Shoes... Mingus is referring to it as posh tottie rock. Simple child like tunes with attitude song by boy and girl. Kind of Gothic and trendy sounding. It takes a while for both sides to kick in but when they do it sounds pretty exciting...in a mental patient way.The new double A side release from Cardiff based trio The Victorian English Gentlemens Club. Limited edition 7” – handstamped, numbered and in a wooden sleeve. Inner bags are all handstamped and numbered. The Victorian English Gentlemens Club will be cover stars of Artrocker Magazine in July. This release features a brand new track ‘La Mer’ which was produced by acclaimed producer Phil Vinal.
