I turned the stereo off when the new Chromeo single came on yesterday. 'Tenderoni' is the cheesiest pile of sub disco toss I've heard in ages. Naff vocoder vocals... why oh why? This has some horrendous sound effects in it...... What is it with everyone sounding like a shitter version of Daft Punk these days. Check out some late 70's Stevie Wonder if you like this. Am hurtling towards the stereo now.....Well gay.Canadian electro pop duo Chromeo look set to make a big splash with ‘Tenderoni’, the first single from their forthcoming album ‘Fancy Footwork’. ·The excitement has been building about this act for a while and with tracks like ‘Tenderoni’ its not hard to see why.With other 80’s-inflected acts such as Calvin Harris and Hellogoodbye tearing up the charts recently the time definitely seems right for Chromeo to make a huge mark. ·Specialist support so far has been amazing. BBC 6Music playlisted the album track ‘Fancy Footwork’ without it even being serviced to radio. ·Radio 1’s Annie Mac is also a huge fan (making ‘Tenderoni’ her One For The Weekend choice) as are the Trophy Twins.
