The debut 7" by Powers on Berlin's 8mm Musik features one time Stereolab (and long time Faith Healers! P x) drummer Joe Dilworth. Two tracks; "Battery" / "Butcher's Arms" is a full frontal assault of charging guitars and lullabye girl vocals sounding not too disimilar to a Kevin Shields production towards the end. The flip is more of an acoustic strum backed again by some sweet vocal ticks and mid-tone drone. On white vinyl.Be the first to review this record.
