Meanwhile, Phantom Band's: "Throwing Bones" (Trial & Error) is a chugging bar room rocker led by slide guitar developing into a breakdown with vocal harmonics and chorused effects on the guitar tunings. Not exactly dad-rock but hardly a teen anthem either....according to Roli.
awesome driving kraut rocker with country overtones and psychedelic synth lines before a very nice unexpected beach-boys inspired breakdown in the middle. a great record from start to finish (and a nice dark instrumental on the B, boasting more classic rock sensibilities). top notch! i'm def in the queue for an album, since I heard these guys have now signed to Chemikal Underground.
