Guilty Simpson - Man's World

Detroit's Guilty Simpson, newly signed to Stones Throw, was a favourite MC of J Dilla, who first brought him to the label. It was Dilla who first put Guilty on wax, on Jaylib's ‘Champion Sound’ album. The pair began recording an album together in 2003, which was delayed by and eventually curtailed Dilla's move to Los Angeles and his increasing ill-health. The material they recorded together is planned for his Stones Throw debut LP, lead off by this limited-press single featuring street, clean, and instrumental mixes. Guilty Simpson has also recorded for recent and upcoming projects by Black Milk, Phat Kat, Percee P, and D-12.
