The Strange Death Of Liberal England - Forward March

Forward March by The Strange Death Of Liberal England

4...according to our on Thu 05 Jul, 2007.

The Strange Death Of Liberal England: "Forward March" (Fantastic Plastic) subtitled as eight traditional marching songs, this collection of gnarled post-rock summons up a kinda crazed form of folk-rock in it's use of power chords, swinging, lulling melodies and quiet-loud-quiet dynamics. Eight tracks in total that can be compared to early Arcade Fire especially on "Oh Solitude", the folk/agit-pop elements come through particularly on "An Old Fashioned War". From the amount of singles I've packaged and shipped, no doubt you lot are gonna snap this up.

The Strange Death Of Liberal England have already graced the pages of The Guardian, The Independent and NME.  ·They have also been in session on Radio One with Steve Lamacq and 6Music with Marc Riley.   ·The band have recently toured with Manic Street Preachers and Of Montreal and will be playing a headlining UK tour throughout July.  ·They will also be playing Latitude, Summer Sundae and Belladrum Festivals.  ·‘Forward March’ was produced by Rob Kirwan.
