I've just put the needle on a Sarah Nixey (Black Box Recorder) 45 and can't believe what I'm hearing. It's a cover of The Human League's 'The Black Hit Of Space' The first track from their seminal Travelogue long player. It's a really special album to me that one. Sarah Nixey's version is a lot warmer than the cold futuristic original. It treads a kind of Client / Ladytron path.
