THE LEATHERTTES are a boy/girl duo who formed in Dundee, Scotland in 2005. Becca Bomb and Johnny Yen met at a nightclub in 2004 and with a shared passion and taste, soon decided they had to create some rock n roll of their own. ??Recording all their own music, they mix punk, rockabilly and electro influences  together, securing their own distinctive sound which is The Leatherettes.  The songs are truly energy ridden with a youthful urgency and zest.  Inlfuenced by bands like The Cramps, Gun Club, The Kills, Stooges, Royal Trux, The Clash,  New York Dolls, Suicide, Primal Scream, The Rolling Stones... ??..Armed with these inspirations, The Leatherettes keep true to rock n roll form  and provide us with a kick in the guts.
