What the label says:

ComMerz offers a definitive overview of Severed Heads' work between 1982 and 2006. Compiled and mastered by head Head Tom Ellard, the 30 tracks double disc set runs for 140 minutes and includes the dance hits Dead Eyes Opened, Greater Reward and All Saint's Day, as well as earlier singles such as Goodbye Tonsils, Petrol, Hot With Fleas and Big Car plus selected album tracks.
Says Ellard: "Here is our latest box of chocolates, which includes our familiar fruits and nuts, hard and soft centres. Some new exotic rum balls might lock your false teeth, but we're sure the pleasure will be well worth the extra chewing."
The set has been digitally remastered by Ellard to run for 140 minutes. The booklet contains a detailed, updated band biography by Bernie Maier.

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.
