Christ what have I given myself to review this week. I do like to give myself a hard time. To My Boy have a single out called Model. The best thing I can say about these guys is they sound like a more indie version of Erasure. That is clearly not a good thing in my book. Sometimes by Erasure was just the most annoying thing ever (a chuffing classic! Maggie x). This is reasonably catchy mind you. I'm not really sure why someone has a) recorded it, b) released it c) stocked it, d) bought it. The mysteries never cease... Did they ever solve the Bermuda Triangle thing?? That was exciting when you were a kid. Where did those planes go?Sam & Jack, better known as To My Boy, return with their brand new single, ‘Model’. The single is a final precursor (after underground and now sought-after favourites ‘I Am X-Ray’ and ‘The Grid’) of the debut album ‘Messages’.
