YOU SAY PARTY! WE SAY DIE! are from Vancouver, Canada. They consist of Becky Ninkovic (vocals), Stephen O'Shea (bass guitar), Derek Adam (guitar), Krista Loewen (keyboards) and Devon Clifford (drums).
'Lose All Time' is their second album release following the seething success of 'Hit The Floor!' (released in the UK on Sound Document in 2006) featuring the NME Single Of The Week 'You Did It!'. Beyond those dry factettes YOU SAY PARTY! WE SAY DIE! are a great big furry indie-punk-dance accident happening in front of our very ears. Entertainingly frothy at the front, extremely principled at the back and feverishly commercial at several points in between, 'Lose All Time' captures a band on the rise and on top pop form.
The suitably titled 'Monster' is the first single and an indie smash-in-waiting but lurking in the wings they also have the exuberant Bansheeisms of 'Opportunity' and the quite frankly terrific 'Like I Give A Care'. Throw in the moody piano-led respite of 'You're Almost There', add on a bonus track for the UK release called 'Midnight Snake' and you have yourself a funny, sexy, attitudinal 60 odd minutes for the whole alternative family to enjoy.
