What the label says:

Debut full length release from super-talented young DIY noise/pop/punk two piece No Age, formed from the ashes of Wives, reminiscent of early Black Dice, The Ramones and My Bloody Valentine. The band recently won over a number of fans at SXSW, Texas, including a showcase at the Levi’s party where the band played directly after The Good The Bad and The Queen.   Until 12th March this year, the band had released no recorded output whatsoever – that changed when they decided to release five limited edition vinyl-only releases on a variety of DIY labels across the globe on the same day (namely UTR, Deleted Art, Teardrops, Youth Attack and Dean’s own PPM label).Their debut LP release ‘Weirdo Rippers’ is a collection of recorded highlights taken from the aforementioned releases, plus one exclusive track.Harnessing an explosive dynamic tension, No Age’s music is prone to switch from syncopated punk-rock squalls to melodic, transient flashes of colour, or conversely, a pop song might spontaneously cut through the noise.

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.
