Legiac (Funckarma) - Mings Feaner

Mings Feaner by Legiac (Funckarma)

Announcing a new addition to the Sending Orbs family, Legiac is those well-known and ever-prolific Funckarma brothers, teaming up with vintage analogue synth-guru and professional behind-the-scenes soundtracker, Cor Bolten. ‘Mings Feaner’ is 70 minutes of unearthly ambience, heartbreaking pads, punching beats and the insane sound-production for which Funckarma are so rightly renowned, and this collaboration with Cor Bolten definitely sheds a new light on the Funcken brothers’ music. Never before have they released an album with such a natural feeling of completion and unity. Hearing those highly textured ambient scapes and rhythmic interceptions interweave at such a subconscious level, this trio really has conjured up something unique and magical. Some adjectives if you want : delicate, enigmatic, distant, pretty, obscure. Adding to the allure of this release, Sending Orbs’ in-house designer Jeroen Advocaat yields one of his finest pieces for the labell yet , spread over a striking 8 page heavy-guage paper booklet that could be regarded a piece of fine art in it’s own right.
