Hot Club De Paris - Clockwork Toy

Clockwork Toy by Hot Club De Paris

4...according to our on Fri 15 Jun, 2007.

Hot Club De Paris have a new 7" out on Moshi Moshi 'n all. I liked these folks 1st single and everything else didn't do a right lot for me. Here's some more slightly twiddly indie rock for you. It's OK.... doesn't do much for me on 1st listen at all. But then what the cock do I know about anything at all. It's called Clockwork Toy which is something I am keen on. Small metallic clockwork robots rule!!

Moshi Moshi release this gem of a single from Hot Club De Paris’ stunning debut album “Drop it Til It Pops” (which has sold over 8000 copies to date in the UK). A great guitar lick, a call to the Indie Dancefloor and away you go! On the B side of this limited 7” (1000 copies) you’ll find a rather splendid if unexpected cover of the Paul Simon classic
“You Can Call Me Al”
