This record left our Phil feeling happy.

Malajube are Canada's latest offspring to be forced down your necks. They obviously like it so much they called their new single Montreal. It's a limited 7" on City Slang clocking in somewhere between Built To Spill and Modest Mouse. In fact come to think of it sounds exactly like Modest Mouse. I remember quite liking the album when I heard it. Good solid pop music.

 Montréal five piece return with their second single ‘Montreal -40C’. The French speaking band are the hottest new group in Canada and created a huge buzz at SXSW in March before coming over to the UK last month Recently supported their good friends Arcade Fire on the latter’s European tour at the band’s personal request. Malajube return to the UK this summer with further dates to be announced shortly.
