Caz Mechanic Caroline Banks has secretly, nocturnally, been making songs and sounds for a couple of years now. Aside to drumming with Seafood and more currently Hush the Many, this is Caroline very much in her own right. Glorious dark and happy weird. In 2006, at nights when everybody else left the studio, Caz Mechanic discreetly self-recorded an album ‘Holidays for Honeybees’ and enlisted Mark Van Hoen (Locust/Seefeel) to produce it. Somehow the album landed in the lap of one M.Ward (Merge/4AD) who promptly invited Caz to support him. It’s entirely appropriate, these are like-minds.

Ray Rumours & The No-Eyed Deers When not criss-crossing countries and making astounding records as bassist with Electrelane, Ros Murray is Ray Rumours. Utilizing ukulele/trumpet/guitar/melodica this is pop stripped to its beautiful bones. At the tip of a relentless underground Ros has assembled the coolest musicians that have swelled in to The No-Eyed Deers. Ray Rumours has released ‘The Hemulen’ cdr album and ‘Forest Songs’ 7” split with Francois. Both on Undereducated/Stitch Stitch Records.Ros has a busy year ahead with a new Electrelane single and album.
