Sunray - Tomorrow

Tomorrow by Sunray

‘Tomorrow’ is Sunray’s second full-length album and the follow-up to 2004’s vinyl-only LP ‘Retrospective In Stereo’. Sunray’s blend of fuzzed-out drone rock, dark folk blues and transcendental pop, has led to comparisons with the leading lights of the 1980’s shoegaze scene, the Jesus and Mary Chain and Spacemen 3, and many of psychedelia’s best acts including Barrett-era Floyd, the Byrds and the Velvets. On their second LP, Sunray have pushed the sonic envelope even further. Over 70 minutes long, the self-produced album features nine tracks that shimmer and shine unlike any other Sunray releases, suggesting a band operating at the peak of its creativity. The new album features Sunray’s three critically acclaimed Earworm singles, ‘Ocean’, ‘Shake It’ and the 24-minute Sonic Boom mix of ‘Music For The Dreamachine’, plus a wealth of new material, available on CD for the first time.
