This summer, XL Recordings will also release the album in the UK.‘All The Night Without Love’ will be the first single to be taken from ‘Ash Wednesday’. Swaying double bass and guitar melodies melt into softly brushed drums and Elvis’s smoky vocals and forlorn lyrics - “I once caused your cells to shimmer and you one caused my cells to shimmer and now we go all the night without love”. ‘Ash Wednesday’ is majestic in its simplicity and indicative of Elvis’s distinct and heartfelt sound, of layered instrumentation and a folk-tinged honestly blending with captivating, magical melodies.
