Bonde De Role - Office Boy

Office Boy by Bonde De Role

3...according to our on Thu 17 May, 2007.

Someone else I haven't got Bonde De Role yet. I wanted to like 'em but I can't help but feel it sounds a bit rubbish. Almost like a slowed down Helen Love or something... essentially it's MIA for the indie folk. So it serves a purpose.... as does the person giving you your burgers at the checkout. I don't have to write about them though. This also features some of the worse imagery I've seen. The whole graphic design for them has been absolutely 100% complete cacka (in my humble opinion). The new sleeve is well gay (it is very homoerotic...) Office Boy is out on 2 x coloured vinyl 7" and CD single. I don't get CSS either though I thought Alala was a great tune but the rest is a load of overhyped toss if you ask me. Style over content...

Preceding the imminent release of their album ‘Bonde Do Role With Lasers’, the Brazilian trio release their second single, the brilliant ‘Office Boy’.  The new single has been produced by their friend and compatriot DJ Chernobyl as well as the band and features multiple remixes crafted by Brazil’s indie-pop prodigies CSS as well as Australian quirky indie-pop octet Architecture In Helsinki and Berlin’s dance music hero Shir Khan. The remixes are the absolute must-have party set who manage to give 4 different versions to an already crazy track.   Other gems include the new brand new and unreleased tracks ‘Contaminada’ and ‘Miami Beach’. ‘Office Boy’ is available on CD single, two highly collectable 7” vinyl singles (pink and blue)
