OVERVIEW: May 21st sees the debut UK release from LA’s Silversun Pickups. 'Future Foe Scenarios' is released as a limited edition non-chart qualifying 7" single. Much lauded in the states and now championed by the UK music press, Silversun Pickups have been touring the states to ever growing crowds and will now bring their live show to the UK for dates in May & June. Sitting somewhere between the territory once occupied by Smashing Pumpkins & My Bloody Valentine, the single captures all the moody nature of Silversun Pickups' sound: fuzzy guitars, driving bass grooves, ethereal keyboards, angular drums, all complemented by Aubert's unmistakable, raspy vocals - Pure quality that sets the Silversun Pickups apart.
The Silversun Pickups album 'Carnavas' will be released in the UK on May 28th.
