The Sveldt 'Bi-Polar' CD kicks off with 'Hynt' which his a mega uptempo glitchy robotic beat and then lunges into 'Hynt' which is a more chilled melodic electronic cut. Then into some Autechre style noisy industrial sound design with 'Daadrul'. 'Lz-35' gets a bit spannered. Again this is on Airvent Media.Airvent Media
The eerie opener hynt sets the pace up for this heavy industrial glitched out ep from Sveldt by setting up a picture of a far off futuristic planet inhabited by evil mecha robots that work the slave colony day and night to drive the power generators. Beats click and turn and relentlessly pound the ears whilet the haunting eerie voices hang in the background. The rest of the ep follows with lots more noise, glitches and sounds of industrial machinery breaking down from constant abuse.
And then when the slave colony has finally given up hope they are rescued and set free. Track 2 – amsx is their party piece. The celebration of happiness that they didn’t know was possible. Glorious uplifting vibes reminiscent of early Orbital, funky breakbeats and throbbing bass ensure the party ends well.
