Adventure Club - Wilderness Music

Adventure Club is Oliver Williams and Ryan Davis. Friends since 13 years old, they met at school and instantly bonded over an almost psychotic interest in music. Recalling elements of early Roxy Music (but with a contemporary twist), Adventure Club nod their head towards the more classic British pop, in the vein of Pulp and Suede. Always finding themselves in esteemed company; even at school, with ex-Ladytron bassist, Pop Levi (now solo), and recording their first demos with The Editors’ soundman, Mick Ingram, (who incidentally produced three tracks on the album) - the band were naturally thrilled then, when Jon Eydmann (ex Suede manager) wanted to join their team, and happily obliged. While at first writing, programming, and playing everything on their forthcoming debut album ‘Wilderness Music’ themselves. They then hooked up with the legendary producer Phil Vinall - (Radiohead, Placebo, Pulp, Babyshambles, Elastica ,Snow Patrol, British Sea Power and James to name but a few), and relocated to his studio in the Ronda Valley in Spain to add the finishing touches. This album defies time and place, but then again, paradoxically, is very ‘now’!
