Dextro - Hearts & Minds

Hot on the heels from his critically acclaimed debut album 'Consequence Music', Dextro returns with remixes from Alias (Anticon), Arkhamand Clark (Warp).  Album highlight, ‘Hearts and Minds’, is taken from the subtle to the extreme by three innovative artists hailing from three differing electronic fields.  The results are a respectful but heavy, Krautrock inspired remix by the up and coming Arkham, a gentle reworking by Anticon's Alias that marries the harmonies of the original to rolling bit crushed hip hop beats and lastly, a reinterpretation by Clark that rips apart the original with disregard in typical Warp fashion.  The results provide more bite to the original and make this an EP that should be a worthy edition to any music lover’s music library.
