I'll start with indie-pop darling signings for Warp Grizzly Bear: "Knife", nowt scary monster like about this offering just a generous slice of gushy, mushy, slushy glop from a bunch of over emotional yanks. It's the flip that's most like anything on the album.

‘Knife’ is taken from the band’s acclaimed album, ‘Yellow House’ released late 2006 which received rave reviews across the board.This stand out track features beautiful layered vocals, echoing guitars and skittering drums all bound by a chorus of woodwind and atmospherics…and of course it’s distinctive, fluttering melody; it’s just plain dreamy. Achingly hip bands from all over the universe have been doing covers, mash ups and remixes of this track from The Knife to CSS, Born Ruffians and Girl Talk and teen fave TV series, ‘Skins’, used three tracks, including ‘Knife’, in a recent episode.
