“best album i've heard in ages, wow... just wow!” – NME Part skiffle, part laptop-pop, add some ‘outsider disco’, but generally defying description, Suburban Kids With Biblical Names are Peter Gunnarsson and Johan Hedberg. Having formed in 2004, they signed to the renowned Swedish label Labrador Records, after coming to the Swedish media’s attention through demos they put on their website. Their first release for Labrador, #1, was an EP of these demos. In 2005, they released a second EP, entitled #2 (of course) before the release of their debut album in Sweden. The album could only have been called #3 and it was. Having been nominated for a Swedish Grammi and winning awards for the video of 'Loop Duplicate My Heart', word got out of Sweden. The album was subsequently given a release in the US in November 2006 on Minty Fresh records. Previously only available on import, the magic of #3 will be unleashed in the UK this summer.
