Swiftly onto Little Death with Countdown... Again on 7". Good band name! Radio friendly shouty anksty sounding indie rock influenced by the more American (ie Sonic Youth) side of things than the British indie rock.... Which really helps it no end.... Decent chorusLittle Death drawn from the prairies of Western Canada, Texas, California and London have slowly been simmering on the capitals live circuit with their inimitable live performances they’ve been featured on XFM & drawn favour from Drowned In Sound + rated Ones To Watch by the Fly
Now Little Death release their debut single Double A side- Countdown / Tough Lover on CD and 7". Produced by Justin Underhill (Bloc Party, Klaxons, Mystery Jets, Lily Allen, Jack Penate), the bands single exudes the influences of Smashing Pumpkins, Pavement, The Arcade Fire, Afghan Whigs and Broken Social Scene, carrying across on record the visceral experience they present on stage with stunning effect.

Good melody, great licks and tons of energy. This is only their first CD? I want more!
