Last Man Standing - False Starts

False Starts by Last Man Standing

So, if you like your blues misshapen and your country through a beer glass, you'll probably go for Last Man Standing, who offer a British take on Americana, although in fact their singer is American - rip off his mask, peer behind the comic book nom de stage, and Max Vanderwolf is revealed as Glenn Max, the curator of the South Bank. They're a right motley crew, not so much waifs and strays as wasted and strained, but they do include Andre Schapps, who is not only the cousin of The Clash's Mick Jones but used to be in B.A.D.
