"Forst" is the debut album by Anglo-Dutch indie-rock band The Bent Moustache. Hailing from Manchester and Edinburgh, Ajay and Wilf moved to The Netherlands to join the politically aware, (post-)punk scene (The Ex etc.) in Amsterdam. Together with Pim they started Donkey, released two albums (Guided Missile) and a John Peel session in 1995. The three started The Bent Moustache and released their debut 7" in 2006. Not having lost their strong belief in DIY ethics, "Forst" cherishes the open-minded musical and lyrical elements of the music they grew up on, varying from straight-forward indie-rock to dub-reggae, agitprop and shoegaze, down-to-earth poppy and fleetingly spacey. As a bonus, the debut 7" tracks are added. Gig: Guided Missile night, The Buffalo Bar, London on May 12, (w/ The Nightingales) followed by a UK-tour.
