More you say. Yes! Here's ALL TRAPS SET with their debut single on Poptones. This is the dude who does the beats in Voice Of The Seven Woods. I wasn't aware there were any beats in any VO7W stuff?? Anyway this is a cool little 7". It's just drums with hints of moog and they sound like some of the weird Can drum beats. Always a winner in my book cos Jaki Leibezeit was one of the best drummers ever... in fact he was was a total machine. Think of some crazy Can rhythms with some spacey style noises in the background creating an eerie percussive nightmare and you've got a marvellous little 7" on your hands. Also makes me think of Malcolm Catto. Excellent... The best thing I've heard on Poptones in ages!

Look out for All Traps Set, Poptones’ latest signing, out on tour with Voice Of The Seven Woods. His next release will be with Edan and Cherrystones. ‘Council Of Desperation’ has the cryptic ring of a Joy Division title and listening to it there is a definite trace of the jagged and disturbing soundscapes that they specialised in. All Traps Set have a powerful, finely calculated sound. It is music that overflows with the ambience of strange and sinister places and has the potential to induce eerie visions. All Traps Set also has 2007 collaborations lined up with Voice Of The Seven Woods, Pedro, The Oscillilation, Chapters and En Dag.
