Sheffield's favourite sons ARCTIC MONKEYS return with their long awaited single 'Brianstorm'. You all know what they soundlike so I wont waste my time. I'm no fan but I'd rather listen to this than a lot of other chancers. The vocals here have that Beastie Boys megaphone distortion sound. Some grime MC called Dizee Rascal is roped in to keep it all street. The production sound is pretty good and all. Slightly raw and captures the bands energy perfectly. They dont sound like George Fornby here like they did on the other records. 10", 7" and CDs on Domino.

‘Brianstorm’ is the stomping opener and first single from Arctic Monkeys’ awaited forthcoming album ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’.The single features three brand new exclusive tracks, including ‘Temptation Greets You Like Your Naughty Friend’ with Dizzee Rascal on guest vocals. The B sides won’t be available to radio until the week before physical release to create an extra buzz around the release as people discover the partnership between the two artists. ‘Temptation…’ will be given special attention and coverage will be coming from both the Arctic Monkeys side and Dizzee Rascal as a common marketing effort.
