The Dance To The Radio comp CD called .Something I Learned Today. is a decent comp featuring the likes of I Was A Cub Scout, Read Yellow, Sky Larkin, Foreign Born, Voltage Union, Disco Drive, Sometree, This Et Al and Black Wire. Lots more too and it's cheap so it's well worth a punt....‘Something I Learned Today’ is Dance To The Radio’s third compilation in as many years, following 2005’s ‘Leeds’ and last year’s ‘What We All Want’ CDs. ‘Something I Learned Today’ features 15 bands from all over the world – the length of the UK, as well as bands from Sweden, Italy, Germany and USA. This is the start however, part one of two compilations DTTR are setting up for the first half of 2007. This compilation, as the next, is primarily put together by a year of touring and returning to rediscover a new generation of Leeds bands. A mix of older and newer bands in their own field brought together in their own mix, this compilation is more accomplished than its predecessors in everyway. From acoustic bliss to ravaged electronica to post-rock bliss in 15 easy steps.
