Now a couple of releases on Filthy Little Angels starting with CAPTAIN POLAROID. Entitled Other Short Stories And Better Works Of Fiction it's another youthful guitar pop/rock act with standard pop hooks with synths. Pretty charming and simple music with the vocals driven through some strange distortion. At times He's kooky like Pavement and it's nice to hear the man working some really original textures messing around with acoustic folk. Bright Eyes. The more I'm listening the more individual its becoming. Yeah dead nice strum-a-long.Second album by "one man band genius" (Salvo Magazine) Captain Polaroid. Self-deprecating, personal and political, his homegrown lo-fi has been likened to Pavement, Graham Coxon and Bright Eyes. In addition to the brand new recordings, the CD also includes his debut album Spitting Facts, Splitting Fractions and an album of demos, both accessable through your computer as mp3 files.
