Half Cousin - Iodine

Iodine by Half Cousin

Half Cousin return with their second album ‘Iodine’ which picks up where their critically acclaimed debut ‘The Function Room’ left off. Recalling Tom Waits, the band protagonist Kevin Cormack sings off kilter and infectious pop about characters and events from his home isle of Orkney. Half Cousin also deliver these songs to captivating effect live with acclaimed artists Martin Slattery and Anthony Genn (The Hours), Jamie Morrison (The Noisettes), Jimmy Hogarth, The Earlies and fellow Scot KT Tunstall all lending a hand on stage in developing this fierce reputation. Half Cousin will embark on a UK tour with The Earlies in March prior to the album being released and return with their own tour in April. Singles from the album will receive remixes from tour cohorts The Earlies, Zero 7, Dextro and Fujiya & Miyagi."Half Cousin are a metaphysical revolution playing junked-up pastoral music for the psychiatric set. Which is a good thing - trust us" – NME.
