Hey new to Domino we have Brazilian band BONDE DO ROLE. A funky and uplifting tune sounding like M.I.A or the Go Team with added carnival crowd shouting ole or something. B-side follows on with 80's style electro pop and crazy shouty (Portuguese??) vocals. They've had 2 releases on Diplo's label whispers Phil in my ear.... Party music.. could be a fashion fad but pretty cool really and quite different. we shall see..

Straight out of the suburbs of Brazil come Bonde Do Role. Discovered by master producer / DJ Diplo and friends of CSS, the unisex trio combine the brattish nature of early Beastie Boys with the funk carioca (also know as Bailefunk) of their homeland. This is a 7” inch only tastemaker release which is backed with the anthem ‘Rap Do CB’. ‘Solta O Frango’ is the band’s theme song, a call to arms. The crazy video features the band involved in an illegal cockfight on the streets of Rio. Presented to MTV, full support is expected from the channel. Although the band are based in Brazil they will be constantly present in the UK with shows planned for April, May and at a festival near you this Summer.
