Good Shoes - Think Before You Speak

Think Before You Speak by Good Shoes

Phil pointed out to me that I was tapping my foot when he played the GOOD SHOES album. It's strange that as I found myself doing it when Maggie reviewed the recent single. If it happens again I'm going drop a big brick on my foot to stop it from happening again. We've just entered into a big discussion about the fact that kids have it too easy these days. This music is dead happy sounding. Not enough pain we reckon. This really reminds me of a more puny sounding Bromheads Jacket. Mingus has pointed out the fact that some of the guitar bits sound like The Buzzcocks. I still like the fact that they wear dead shit trainers. I used to wear the crappest trainers imaginable as a kid. £2.99 plimsoles from Woolworths. Other kids tried to mock my footwear while my only defence was to claim that they were 'Bruce Lee shoes'. Kids can be so cruel.

·After a string of increasingly brilliant singles, Good Shoes release their eagerly anticipated debut album.·Produced by Tore Johanssen and Per Sunding (Franz Ferdinand, New Order, The Cardigans).   ·Includes the single ‘Never Meant To Hurt You’.   ·Also features ‘The Photos On My Wall’ NME Single Of The Week and Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record In The World.
