Along these years we have acquired the required equipment to do so and so we retain total control over the songs and the arrangements; It’s not the usual in Spain as we lack that DYI approach to making music so common in places like the UK...it’s really hard work but worth every second. In any case, Paco Loco’s experience and vision have been vital and we look forward to working with him again

As far as the actual songs goes...every single time I play Ex-Snowman I get the feeling things around me change too quickly, I can’t see any clear resemblance to the classic references, I see a band that transmits a real fresh sense of emotion. I appreciate some very fine lyrics and instruments that make music sound like there is music along them...I see neat ideas, painful at times...dreamy at other times but always of high intensity. “When I was writing our first songs I always used to look back at bands and musicians I have always admired: Brian Wilson, Chris White....all those key musicians; now that doesn’t matter to me so much, I only want to transmit with the music and the melody what the lyrics say, what makes me sad and what makes me smile, what may kill a part of me and what may save it. When everything fits you know you have got a song” concludes Javi.

If the future is bright to Big City and they manage to carry on there with a more receptive crowd, I will be pleased to feel how fast time gone by during these past 5 years.
