What the label says:

“More guns than Goodfellas, more cocaine than Scarface” Fuck me USA was started in February 2006 as a concept, a group designed as an idea: everything, from the lyrics, the notes, the artwork, the instruments and the press shots needed to be in place before a single note was played. What followed was twisted film noir storylines over a 150BPM beat, sung in a style not dissimilar to Alan Vega's from '77’s New York punk scene. Live, Fuck me USA, made their debut at last years Glade Festival and have just been added to the bill of Glastonbury 2007 ! A two-piece, in the same tradition as the pet shop boys and suicide, the two performers are the yin and yang, the shock and awe, of their own American dream. On one side of the stage a vocalist, in peaked cap and black leather, buckled and studded, clutching a microphone in one hand and an American flag in the other, moaning and pleading like a femme fatal who's met her match. On the other side a keyboard player, trailer park red neck, mid western trash, staring out at a disbelieving audience. Fuck me USA hails from the middle of England, the Upper East Side of the Midlands and sounds like Alan Vega, Sigue Sigue Sputnik's 'Flaunt It', and Underworld layered with Velvet Underground guitars. Fuck me USA are Chris Olley and James Flower sometime members of Six By Seven.

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.

'Does anyone want a party ring?'
