Following on from his triumphant return with ‘Loveheart’ comes the reissue of Merz's long unavailable debut which includes a bonus disc of past and present remixes, b sides and rarities. Originally signing to Sony/Epic, the hype for Merz was relentless and somewhat unforgiving. However, the gale that surrounded Merz’ arrival soon exhausted, the prospect of world domination disappeared and the genre defying album that promised so much, deleted. Six years on and his career was magnificently resurrected by the magical ‘Loveheart’ which Mojo and Q hailed as a “Lazarus like return” and “a vivid talent re-awakened” respectively. Here for the first time since it was deleted is a comprehensive package that contains Merz's debut but repackaged with an additional tracklisting and the inclusion of previously unheard material. It also comes with a collection of fantastic remixes from Mouse On Mars, Francois K, MJ Cole, Alex Metric and Dextro
