The Gasman - Love Collection

Love Collection by The Gasman

4...according to our on Thu 29 Mar, 2007.

We like THE GASMAN here at the towers. I reckon he's one of the unsung heros of the Planet Mu roster. Sadly his stuff never makes it onto vinyl. His music often reminds me of some freaky fairground playing old UK hardcore. 'Love Collection' is uptempo with slightly spannerd beats but there is a real sense of structure and melody within. In fact there are some genuinely soulful melodies on here. Simultaneously deep and playful. I shall be revisiting this one. Come on Paradinas! We want the wax!!!! (We got this 3 weeks late cos of a distro fuck up.... brilliant)

Portsmouth’s The Gasman delivers his most consistant work to date. Is it a concept album on love? who knows, I’m not asking, but contained herein are 12 beautiful electronic nuggets in the Gasman mode.
Sounding clearer and smoother than ever before, Chris is refining his style. ’White’ sounds white, and ’Mint’ sounds mint. Incredible electronic loveliness.
