What we say

Rating: ecstatic This record left our Brian feeling ecstatic.

Fucking hell. This series of limited albums is heading right up the avenue marked "Eclectic" If Eddy Grant had a deformed tongue he could have written a song about this. Northern UK duo DIRTY HUSBAND arrive next with a show of horror synths, splintered gabber, misanthropic muttering & distorted power electronics that weigh in somewhere between Wevie Stonder, DHR, Pitman & Whitehouse with a touch of Happy Flowers style peurile mentalism. Honestly, this is really funny but then I'm a little disturbed. 'Chocolate Warriors' unsettles with it's SCATtershot take on the pitfalls of urban existence. Like "old people" & "dog shit". Yes. This is suffering from a dearth of decency. But then again I think old people need laughing at occasionally, and dog shit is just a fact of life. ('Dogshit Story' is a fabulous spoken word "observation" of an old english sheepdog & it's owner struggling with a roadside whoopsy incident) Phil says if Ant doesn't take one of these sick puppies home he's gonna drown him in the canal. Or is that shut down Norman Records? Perhaps shit on Norman Records? Album of the week if you ask me!!!

Two cheap bastards from a shitty Northern town farting out pebbledash loudbrown to insult your ears.

2 = Dr. Chod, grumpy cross-dressed wedding tosser with a proper filthy gob and a garageload of buttfucked old drum machines cranked to 300bpm.

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.
