Rosie Thomas - These Friends of Mine

These Friends of Mine by Rosie Thomas

Following 3 well received albums released on Sub Pop (When We Were Small [2003], Only With Laughter Can You Win [2004] and If Songs Could Be Held [2005]), the 4th album by Rosie Thomas is the first to be released on her own label Sing-a-Long Records (manufactured and marketed in association with Nettwerk). These Friends Of Mine was written and recorded in New York with her friends (and fellow solo artists) Sufjan Stevens and Denison Witmer, who were heavily involved in the entire recording process as both musicians and arranger/producers.
The album includes cover versions of The One I Love (REM), Songbird (Fleetwood Mac) and Paper Doll (Denison Witmer), plus 7 new Rosie Thomas originals.
