THE HOWLING BELLS have a new single out on CDs and 7" called Low Happening. I like these folks. They make songs nice. The enhanced CDs of this features a channel 4 documentary (presumerably about the band and not about some siamese twins with massive hands) as well as a video. If I have to listen to indie rock it would be these guys I'd be listening to. Female fronted decent guitar music which smacks of PJ Harvey ala Rid of me era. I like it plenty.... though I was disappointed to find the documentary wasn't on the 7".
