A unique 18 track compilation featuring the cream of Scotland’s musical and literary talents.    The album highlights the diversity and talent currently around in the music and literary scene in Scotland.    All tracks stem from original written works that have been interpreted by the musicians to produce stunning songs. The CD includes a special 32 page booklet featuring all the poems and proseThe writers include such giants as Ian Rankin (CWA Gold Dagger), Ali Smith (Whitbread Novel Award), Edwin Morgan (Queen’s Gold Medal For Poetry), John Burnside (Whitbread Poetry Award), Louise Welsh (The Guardian First Book Award), Robin Robertson (shortlisted for T.S. Elliot Prize.     Scottish TV to broadcast a documentary on the whole project from its inception to completion on March 1st. The documentary will also be shown at film festivals around the world. Newsnight Scotland will feature the album with interviews & live performances from the Celtic Connections gig at the Royal Concert Hall.
