Now an album from KING KONG called Buncha beans. Apparently this dude used to be in Slint but here he's gone all silly. One note singing over simple guitar hooks taken from a text book of easy licks for beginners. Sounds like a school band with funny front man.... fuck me its doing my head in actually its gotta go off... the lads are liking the words... all I can hear is is monotone infuriating voice like Rolf from the muppet show or the guy from the B52's. sick in a bad way
The new sounds came to King Kong from Paul Oldham’s Rove Studio in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Working with Paul, Ethan gave more depth to the production, a classic rock feeling. Louisville guitar hero Wink O’Bannon showed Ethan some guitar licks to aid Ethan’s pursuit of more rock-and-roll types of guitar solos.
