The occasionally genius Tigertrap label offer us a new 7" by LOOK SEE PROOF called Discussions. At one point the guy sings sitting by yourself but he says the S far too many times.... Eg S S S Sitting by yourself. I'd like to think he's got a speech impediment but I think he's doing it for effect. Shame really. We need more folks with stammers making music and singing..... They'd have to invent new formats which would go over 80 minutes. As someone who used to have a stammer I can tell you it can take fucking ages to get a word out so whatever this format is it needs to be able to hold hours worth of info..... errr..... B b b bog ssssssstandard iiiiinndddie rawk...Look See Proof release their second AA single - 'Discussions' / 'Single's The New Together' on limited edition 7" vinyl (500 copies).
Their debut sold out within a week of release, gaining the band a coveted Single Of The Week slot on 6 Music, as well as airplay from Fearne Cotton,
John Kennedy and Steve Lamacq, who was so blown away after seeing the band at London's Buffalo Bar that he offered them a Radio 1 session
hours later and subsequently played the single four weeks in a row on "In New Music We Trust".
Gigs with The Rifles, The Fratellis, The On Offs and Foals have helped build a loyal fanbase, culminating in a recent sell out show at Club 85 which
ended with half the audience clambering on stage and chanting in unison for the finale, forthcoming single 'Discussions'. This will sell out fast!
