Ambulance - Bells & Whistles EP

Bells & Whistles EP by Ambulance

Ambulance Bells & Whistles EP
Release date: March 2007
Cat number: C1795

Ambulance are Hatty, Dom, Adam and Graeme

Ambulance will be releasing their second EP on Sea Records. It has already been played by Steve Lamacq, Rob Da Bank, Huw Stephens and John Kennedy. This 6 track ep is a mix of psychedelic pop music (think 20/20 era Beach Boys), child-like folk (think Trunk Records’ Fuzzy Felt Folk and the films of Beat Takeshi) and freakbeat garage (think Caleb Quaye and The Stooges).

The ep comes in a special card sleeve with a hand stitched booklet.

Their last single, 'Witchi Tai To' was one of Radio 1 Blue Room’s tunes of the month. It was accurately described as ‘rather excellent’ by NME and was playlouder.com’s Single of the Week.

Ambulance have also released one EP on Robot Records, which featured their cult version of So Solid Crew’s 21 Seconds and a 12” on Honey Records.

Ambulance are based in Liverpool.
