Richard Swift - Kisses For The Misses

Kisses For The Misses by Richard Swift

4...according to our on Thu 22 Feb, 2007.

RICHARD SWIFT's new 7" is rather fantastically titled Kisses For The Misses. His last album on Secretly Canadian was great.... he has a new album due soon called Dressed Up The Letdown which I'm guessing (after hearing this) is going down a more commercial 'Mojo' route. For those who don't know him he's a singer songwriter dude and this fantastically titled new single sounds just like Hunky Dory era David Bowie. Kisses For The Misses though.....again.. Genius.

Fast becoming one of the most critically acclaimed artists of 2007 so far - with fantastic reviews of his ‘Dressed Up For The Letdown’ album. The first single to be taken from the album - available on 7” only – backed with a brand new track. The multi-talented instrumentalist, songwriter and unique entertainer is set to take the UK by storm with his first national UK tour in March. His sound is often compared to fellow legendary entertainers from Paul McCartney and Van Dyke Parks to Rufus Wainwright and Randy Newman.
