Straight into THE KILLERS new single called Read My Mind. When my sister was up the other week she was amazed (and shocked) that I didn't like this lot. Her two children proceeded to call me stupid. We've not really mentioned much about 'em and largely ignored the last few singles and album as they get far too much press anyway. I thought I'd check back in with 'em and here what they sound like these days and I'm pleased to know that I stand by my original conviction that I just don't like them. This new single is bombastic sounding bland American rock with hints of U2 and Springsteen.... even the sleeves look like old U2 singles. I suppose when you get black and white photo guru Anton Corbijn on board? On 7" and CD if I've sold it to you (which I doubt...)

Widely held as one of the standout tracks on the critically acclaimed Sam’s Town, the single will be made available with new B-sides and remixes from the likes of Pet Shop Boys and Linus Loves across formats. The Killers have been announced as one of the acts to be performing at this year’s Brit Awards on February 14th, and as nominees in two categories for the Awards, they follow this with a UK tour that will send the album over 1 million in the UK.
