Now !!! (You've got to google search "chk chk chk") with their new album Myth takes on Warp. Sounding a bit like the 90's and that song by Yellow. Its a rhythm focused song with drums coming from every where and a mix of real kit and 80's electronics creating a eerie and effective sound. The vocals are inconsequential as the guitar cuts a funky path all overshadowed (and under the mix of the drums). 3rd tracks gone a bit Junior Senior with tambourine led chorus with an 80's gay disco/trance vibe to it... Nice ...quite funky if a bit boring

The beloved transatlantic 16 legged mothership that are !!! (Chk Chk Chk) are back with what is undoubtedly their best album to date.  Myth Takes’ is made up of killer singles and groovier than ever tunes.   Post-punk bass patterns, spaghetti western guitars, African polyrhythms, spaced out disco and vintage Philly soul are just some of the key ingredients. ‘Heart Of Hearts’, the first single from the album, has been ripping up dancefloors since Christmas and generating wild excitement in the media.  NME had it ‘On The Stereo’ within minutes and Pitchfork called it “a mighty six-minute tsunami”.Their reputation as one of the best live bands on the planet led to The Red Hot Chili Peppers cherry picking them as support on their stadium world tour last summer. And they’re back in March, defying you not to dance your pants off, followed by key festival appearances over the summer.
